Announcing the Once A Week Free and Free To Use Work911 Workplace Newsletter

Here's the Scoop

Target: The newsletter is for anyone interested in workplace issues, ranging from managers and executives to consultants, trainers and receptionists. Not all articles will be of interest to everyone, but we'll do our best to provide a good cross-section of topics. The newsletter will also contain a regular update on any new events on the work911.com supersite. That could mean that one or two issues a month might contain such news. In any case, you will NEVER receive more than four editions a month.

Distribution: Articles are sent no more than once weekly (4 times a month) in plain text format (no fancy stuff). Expected size per article about 500-800 words.

Your Usage: Almost anything, without permission provided proper credit is given. The only restriction is that you may not post any of this material on any other website, external or internal, due to contractual obligations.

Topics: If you like the range of topics on this web site, you'll like the newsletter. Training, conflict, management techniques, organizational health, stress, change management, performance appraisal and more will be included. As a fun thing we will also be doing a column entitled Scam-Fighters to stimulate thinking.

Future Plans: We plan on providing a means where you can discuss, respond to, and criticize the ideas in the article. That will be a separate system and you can join or not as you please without affecting your newsletter subscription.

Why Are We Doing This? Here's the deal. We have a syndication deal signed to produce a weekly article for distribution on the internet or on websites. That's a pay deal. It only applies to that specific use. So, we have all this material we're writing sitting here doing nothing. And as my writing teacher once said: You ain't a writer unless people read you". So, to that end we offer it to you free.

In the interests of full disclosure the newsletter may have ads included at the top and bottom which you can pay attention to or not. We get a small sum for the ads (I don't even know how much).

Reassurances:
