In short, Jung's typology is more philosophy than science. What is science, I would say, is bad science because he didn't do controlled studies and he relied too heavily upon his own insights and evaluations of what he observed. His terminology is imprecise and equivocal. Finally, there is no meaningful way to falsify his claims about psychological types
